ORCiD SSO is super cool, didn't know we could do that :) |

Signing in at arcticdata.io required me to edit my browser settings (Firefox) to add a third-party cookie exception. |

The data entry process could use a "save as draft" feature. I wasn't able to finish in one sitting. The CARE section in particular requires a lot of thought and free-form response. I think it's awesome these questions are being asked, but saving as draft would have made it much easier to tackle everything in smaller chunks. |

Successfully submitted an upload today, but should have done it to the test site instead of production. Shame on me :) Uploading a single data file was fairly intuitive, but what about datasets that grow over time? What does cloud access to this data look like? Something to play with tomorrow :) What does it look like to access data in DataONE through Coiled, for example? |

Using the test website required a different workaround for third-party cookies than the documented one. For that, you need to add an exception for EDIT: At first I thought this didn't work, but it does... I just fat-fingered something. Woops! |

Trey and myself are new DataONE users and will be exploring the documentation and trying out the web application for learning and documentation purposes. We'd primarily like to document for our users what to expect in the near future, and help them submit data to DataONE to prepare for QGreenland-Net.
This thread is for sharing observations, asking questions, etc.
