It would be great to have Nord colors for KDE text editors. There is my "wannabe Nord" Kate color schema, I've made for myself. It is not perfect now, just an "alpha version", but maybe it will help you.

Thanks for your contribution 👍

I'm always happy for any help to get a new port project started. I've downloaded your prototype and it almost already looks to be very complete. Have you created the theme manually or are there tools / GUIs to create these schemes? As long as there is no official repository, users can transitionally use the content in this issue to use a theme prototype locally.

Please note that my current life situation doesn't allow me to spend as much time on my projects as before like announced on Twitter so I've added this port project to the Backlog Icebox for the time being. It might take some time to test things out, but I'll try to reserve some free time on the weekends.

I've used KWrite built-in settings to create this schema. KDE applications are known for getting you a lot of options to customize your KDE experience.

There are a lot of options for different source/markup/script highlights. I've set them to default values now, but I will try to tweak them a little, to have a consistent look across editors, konsole, and vim.

Hello! This is quite old, but I'm still going to try if people are even active on this anymore. Today I spent about two hours trying to make my own Nord colorschema for Kate/KDevelop/whatever else uses Kate to edit text, and I've just got pointed towards this a couple of hours ago by a user on Reddit. Since what you've done is more complete than what I've got, would you like to try and work together to finish this one? I really love this colorscheme and I try to get it on anything that supports it, and if I can make it work on something I'm using, I'm going to try and make it work

EDIT: I now just noticed that 'ghost' isn't an username, and it replaces users which deleted their accounts here on Github. I'll try to play around with this and make it more complete
