Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
The NVTX support in cudawrappers is nvidia-only, so it doesn't work on AMD.

Describe the solution you'd like
We could port the NVTX header to roctx for AMD support. Before we do so, it would be good to add tests for the NVTX header, see #219.
