Make the most important configuration options available via NixOS/home-manager modules.

Additionally, DNIeRemote has the following undocumented options:

  • jumpintro=0; = Don't skip the intro
  • jumpintro=241; = Go directly to the USB connection page
  • jumpintro=242; = Go directly to the Wi-Fi connection page
  • wifiport=%d; = TCP port to use for Wi-Fi connection
  • usbport=%d; = TCP port to use for adb connection

Moreover, the HOME variable is inspected to read the ~/dnieRemote.cfg config file, so maybe it can be set in the wrapper to point to ~/.config/dnieRemote to avoid littering the user's home directory.
