send materials before the workshop to be better prepared
novice workshops
finding out the level of participants (quiz?)
comments: this was more meeting for developers, addressing only 10% of the community
lower the barrier to join
adding 1-2 days for an additional intro for novice
for some beginners it was useful to be exposed to various software (even in the alpha state)
