A push button channel would be fantastic (i.e. momentary button, as opposed to an on / off button) and / or possibly a remote control channel.
Use cases
Push Button
My driver, driver-orvibo has support for blasting IR. Would like a channel so that a controlling app (e.g. a future version of a Sphere app) can "press" the button to emit IR. Would also allow stuff like 433mhz remotes or BLE buttons (like Flic) to be controlled / emulated / detected / whatever.
Remote Control Channel
My other driver, driver-projector is using the media control channel at the moment. It works, but Play / Pause on the Spheramid = On / Off which can be slightly confusing. A "remote" channel, like the media control channel, could allow basic TV functions -- On / Off, Volume Up / Down / Mute, Channel or Input Source Up / Down. Samsung driver and Lindsay's Yamaha driver would also benefit
