Cync account credentials error #117
Comments
Same here. No matter how many times you login and get a (refreshed) One Time Password, you'll get the same error. I found it interesting that the Google Home's integration with Cync still works and without 2FA, so maybe something's changed on the Cync backend??? This used to work for me, too, but seemed to fail after a power outage... I can still use the Cync app, but HASS can't do its usual login. |

this has also been my issue for atleast about a month or so. I originally had this set up perfectly and was using it until I added a new light that wouldnt get added into HA so I thought reinstalling might work but it didnt and just totally locked me out. |
Same here. I am brand new to HA, so I assumed I had set things up wrong when I got this same error message. It sounds like it's nothing to do with my setup but a deeper problem. I only have six Cync floodlights, but I was hoping to set them up for Xmas colors in HA. Is there a workaround or are we all stuck until/if the integration is fixed? |
Well since I haven't been able to figure that one out. I have found this other repo that controls the cync devices locally. Although the only thing is its more technically so if your not too technically this wont be the route for you. I've been trying to set it up now but my only issue is working with MQTT. I've never used it before and have to figure it out. |
I have been planning to set up and use MQTT with my Blue Iris Server, so this is a perfect excuse to figure it out. Thanks for the tip! |

I am having this same issue. “Invalid or unsupported Cync configuration, please ensure there is at least one WiFi-connected Cync device in your Home(s).” I only have one device on my Cync account. It is a Dynamic Effects Smart Light Strip (CSTR16CDID/ENS-1T) which is a wifi based light strip. |
Hi,
After entering my username, password, and 2FA, I encountered this error:
“Invalid or unsupported Cync configuration, please ensure there is at least one WiFi-connected Cync device in your Home(s).”
I already have devices connected and controlled via my phone. Has anyone else experienced this issue?
