Error: Unable to load stream data

twitch app version 3.5
internet connection is working (youtube and browser work)
i tried to reinstall the twitch app
i tried to delete the twitch app and install it anew
no matter if i try to browse Channels or games it does 15 retries and says Error: Unable to load stream data.

Anyone? Please? I'm really desperate. Experiencing the exact same problem on a similar model, app installs just fine but times out after the 15th try.

I'm having the same problem. The app worked fine for over a year, but stopped working this week.
Error: Unable to load stream data after 15 retries.

Any tips or tricks to fix this?

This is a known issue which the author is also aware of (see here: #89)
Hopefully a fix will be available soon.

well looks like they fixed issue #89, but its still not working for me on version 3.6, still the same error
