How to disable auto switch to workspace when a new window opens.

I am working on program which automates some task for me by opening chrome windows. When ever a new tab get's opened automatically new workspace is selected.

i am not sure how to disable it. this feature of auto switching is good but not so great when i am running automation job. Can we disable the auto switching specifically to one app.
