First of all, let me send my gratitude for maintaining this great software. I discovered this fork by chance as its not even listed as one of the forks in the main tint2 repo. Its much better than the master. I will however make a little request. Hope you find time to look at it.
when padding is enabled for the panel, everything inside the panel is padded. I would like a situation where only selected panel items are padded and at different ranges.

If I understand it right, this is different property (margin) - like
padding, but outside border (while padding itself is inside border).
Should be not hard to implement.
Just for case, I keep tint2 on some other hostings too - right now it
may make sence, as I got news (can't find anythng besides at my own
language) about g-h blocking users from my country at unknown
regularity (contrary to previous claimed decision).
