I am encountering an issue with the ARCitect application where I am
unable to open an ARC. The application continuously buffers and does
not proceed further. A screenshot of the issue is attached for your
reference.

You edited the study file outside ARCitect and added rows. Here you referenced to data from external Excel sheets. To exclude, that 5jis cause issues to ARCitect, please check if copy the referenced values itself and avoid the formulars in the cells may help.

Okay, But the data that is referenced from external excel sheets are just geo coordinates. do we also have reference for geo coordinates in ARCitect? Just need a clarification. I could open the ARC now. Thank you.

Great, so the bug report is rather that ARCitect does not raise an error message but get stuck in the opening process panel, while opening excel files that were modified in an incompatible way externally.

Can you please provide me with an example ARC where this is happening? Preferably a small one so I can report an error in the future. Thank you

This happened when i modified files out of the ARCitect locally using Excel. In Excel I have use VLOOKUP feature to import the data from another excel file and did not convert the formula into the plain text or values. So this happened. Thank you.

Hey @jagdish7396,

could you try to reproduce the error in a minimal example assay or study file?

This way we could try out what exactly fails, and whether we can fix it or at least return some helpful error messages.
