Neutrino still under development? #1707
Comments
Hi The people who used to maintain this project (one of whom is myself) no longer use it (I work on things other than front-end development now), and no one else has stepped up to help. For webpack 5 support, someone else is going to need to help out, as mentioned here: I've thought about taking down the site and archiving the GitHub repos, however that would prevent people from offering to help out. However, we're quite possibly at the point where we should just still do it. |
That's pretty much what I'd guessed. Many thanks for the prompt response, @edmorley . |
I marked all of the Neutrinojs packages on npmjs.org as deprecated on 18th December, to more accurately reflect the current state of the project. They can still be used but now a deprecation warning is shown when they are installed. |
I've just posted a notice to the webpack-chain repository about sunsetting that project: I'm going to be sunsetting the neutrino repository soon for the same reasons |
What the title says.
No updates to the master branch for 14 months.
Still no support for Webpack 5, released over 2 years ago.
Is this project still a going concern?
