Every table can be customized on a per user basis on the right hand side under "Configure Table," in which you can choose which columns are shown/hidden. Furthermore, defaults can be set for all users.
As far as views, like rack elevations or drilling down into a rack itself, I don't believe there is a way to remove the facility ID from showing. On rack elevations it is displayed under the rack name and under the main view it is listed in parenthesis next to the name. With that said, facility ID already is a separate field from the rack name, the display name on the pages combines them. |

The question was indeed on how to remove the facility ID from the 'Rack' column when being displayed (like in a device list view). I thought there was a way with custom fields, but I can't remember |

I suppose you could always ignore the existing facility ID field as it's not required, and create your own custom field with the UI visibility set to hidden:

If a rackname is displayed in tables/views, it is always with the facility Id.
Is there an option to show only the rackname ? that facility ID is onyl needed when we contact our datacenter direct.
Maybe an extra field (rack without facility id) ??
