Cannot copy current datetime #7764

Summary

The current datetime is displayed in up to two places in Open MCT:
Status area
image

Time Conductor
image

Users often need to copy this information to paste elsewhere, such as in a log entry. But, the datetime element cannot be selected and cannot be copied. The previous version of the Time Conductor used to allow this.

Expected vs Current Behavior

The datetime element in both locations should be easily selectable and copyable. The Time Conductor may need some mods to support the ability to select the datetime while still capturing clicks elsewhere to display the popup config menu.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. View Open MCT.
  2. Attempt to select the datetime element, either in the Time Conductor or Status area.
  3. Feel the frustration of being unable to do so.

Environment

  • Open MCT Version: 9.0.0
  • Deployment Type: any
  • OS: any
  • Browser: any

Impact Check List

  • Data loss or misrepresented data?
  • Regression? Did this used to work or has it always been broken?
  • Is there a workaround available?
  • Does this impact a critical component?
  • Is this just a visual bug with no functional impact?
  • Does this block the execution of e2e tests?
  • Does this have an impact on Performance?

Is this true for both real-time and fixed time modes?
