XPC plugin not visible in X-Plane #271

Hi, I am running X-Plane Pro V11.55r2 on Windows 10. I downloaded the XPlaneConnect source as a zip, unzipped the contents and copied the folder to X-Plane 11\Resources\Plugins.

I start X plane, begin a flight, and go the Plugins -> Show Plugin Admin tab in the menu at the top of the screen.

XPC is not listed in the window that pops up - only PluginAdmin and XLua 1.0.0r1.

In Log.txt in the X-Plane root directory, under the section 'Fetching plugins for C:\X-Plane 11/Resources/Plugins', only one plugin is loaded - xpsdk.examples.pluginadmin.

I have tried putting the 'XPlaneConnect-master' folder in the \resources\plugins folder, and I have also tried putting the folder inside this (also named 'XPlaneConnect-master') in the \resources\plugins folder, but neither works.

After looking at problems others have had online with X-Plane plugins not being visible generally, I have made sure to install the C++ redistributables back to 2013. No luck with this approach, either. Of course, restarting the PC has no effect, and I am running X-Plane as an administrator.

Am I missing something really obvious? Thank you.

I was, in fact, missing something obvious - just had to get the latest XPlaneConnect release from the releases page, rather than the -master code from the main page. It now appears in the plugins admin window in X-Plane after it was placed in the \resources\plugins folder. Blame a lack of familiarity with github on my part!
