Installation problems with Eclipse Modeling Tools Luna (4.4) #13
Comments
Yes, sorry. The update site is stale and subject to binary limitations of GitHub. We're moving to a Maven build for the update site and will host it separately elsewhere. In the meantime if you're sufficiently curious you may find it easier to select the luna branch of the repo source and clone it or fork it to your platform, then run the CertWare product from the product plugin; that way you don't need the update site. |
Hello, Any update on that front? Is there an update site I can get certware plugins? |
A Luna-compatible update site for all CertWare features is at updatesite.certware.net http://updatesite.certware.net/ and there are some prerequisites listed there just in case the dependencies aren’t found by the installer. However there is a lot of new content yet to put into that package, especially our graphical editors, AADL links, and argumentation DSLs; these are works in progress. Matt

I used
https://github.com/nasa/CertWare/raw/master/net.certware.feature.updatesite
as the update site URL. I selected all CertWare components there. After clicking next I get an error message:
Cannot perform operation. Computing alternative solutions, may take a while: 0 / 15.
This proposes a solution to which I select:
Keep my installation the same and modify the items beign installed to be compatible
After some more processing I get a much larger error:
Based on the error message and poking around in the GitHub repository I changed the update site to
https://github.com/nasa/CertWare/raw/master/net.certware.feature.updatesite/target/repository
. This lead to another error:So I tracked down this
org.junit_3.8.2.v3_8_2_v20100427-1100.jar
file and installed it manually. The text was updated successfully, but these errors were encountered:
