Hello! We'd like to offer a bounty to upgrade this plugin to NDI 5. Specifically, we're interested in the following features:

--IP-based genlock
--GPU acceleration
--UDP-based protocol

We can offer $500.

I know the work is likely worth more, but at the very least I want to let you know there's interest, and thank you for the work.

Hi!
They finally announced NDI 5!!

At first, I really really feel great to hear that you are so interested in me upgrading ofxNDI that you can offer some. :)

As I mentioned in an e-mail for you, I now consider like below;

  • I will upgrade
  • I don't want to "promise" any specifications or kind of due date or anything like that about developing ofxNDI
  • So I'd like to receive your offer as GitHub sponsorship if you can and want to

Just now I received an e-mail from you, and I totally understand what you want me to do and I appreciate that you understanding me.
Thank you again!
Again I will upgrade this addon with or without your kind support so feel free to cost some money or not.

Just wanted to say something here,,,
I of course know that NDI 5 is now available for developers.
But I'm so kinda super busy now that I can't do anything for this addon!!!
I hope I can do in next month..

It's now 2024 - is there any forward progression on this? NDI is becoming more and more important to video workflow and I have a use case that I'd like to use 5 for rather than 4.

Hi, I don't have an opportunity using NDI nowadays so I don't get anything about recent NDI.
There is NDI5 branch on this repository.

It's also a bit outdated but please take a look!
