Consider the following input:

<em>Ein Standpunkt von <strong>Rüdiger Rauls.</strong></em></p>

Here the current rendition:

*Ein Standpunkt von **Rüdiger Rauls.** * 

which can not be parsed properly.

Suggestion

that works in all circumstances:

_Ein Standpunkt von **Rüdiger Rauls.**_

Note that there is no space between _E and *_ !

This issue is not <em> specific but caused by nested nodes.
