General

  • Removed the 4x4 font, it was in most cases unreadably
  • Editing filetype for a file in the filebrowser, not displays some information per filetype
  • The current active playback plugin is now visible in the title bar
  • Mac does not have a key, medialib was not usable without this key. Added alternative key
  • Better support for dynamic widths of the screen (playback header, filebrowser)

Short summary:

  • YM file support is now updated to original project StSound_1_43.zip
  • GCC 10.x compile fix
  • SDL/SDL2/X11 graphical GUI can now display MP3/ID3, OGG and FLAC embedded pictures
  • MP3/ID3, OGG and FLAC tags are now displayed in the user interface
  • nCurses/SDL/SDL2/X11 user interfaces can now render UTF-8 text (useful for tags mentioned above)
  • Use a local fork of libsidplayfp, instead of the previous system installed libsidplay 1.x
  • ALT-K help, no longer freezes the interface it is drawing above
