Description

I receive an error message while trying to buy Monero using fiat currency.

  • Can you reproduce the issue?

Steps to reproduce

  1. Open tab "Exchange"
  2. Click on "Buy Monero using fiat currency"
  3. Click on "---" to select currency
  4. Select "Euro - EUR"
  5. Error message displayed

Expected behavior:

No error message is displayed.

Actual behavior:

Received error message:

An unexpected application error occurred. The following error message was encountered: 

 Request failed with status code 400Mozilla/5.0 (Linux; Android 7.0; FRD-L09 Build/HUAWEIFRD-L09; wv) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0 Chrome/100.0.4896.88 Mobile Safari/537.36

Furthermore Retrieving minimum and maximum transaction amount limits is displayed and won't go away. Nevertheless I receive the requested information, i.e., "You send", "Bank fee", "Service fee" etc.

Side note: I was connected to the internet via an USB-C <-> Ethernet adapter.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention.

This error happens when our partner's minimum-maximum service is experiencing issues. To better enhance the user interface, I've changed it to report the problem to the user in a clearer fashion.

I've fixed this bug in our utilities repository, so the next release we publish will fix the issue
