Describe the bug

there seems a security issue with the lock screen.

  • My laptop suspends
  • -the screen goes off.
  • Then, when I wake up the laptop, my normal desktop is visible for a brief moment
  • then the lock screen appears to login again

The issue is that the desktop should not be visible before the lock screen appears after waking up

I run Fedora 41 and ML4W dotfiles 2.9.8.2

Steps to reproduce

  • My laptop suspends
  • -the screen goes off
  • Then, when I wake up the laptop, my normal desktop is visible for a brief moment
  • then the lock screen appears to login again

Expected behavior

The issue is that the desktop should not be visible before the lock screen appears after waking up.
After waking up the first thing to show should be the lock screen

@mrmvergeer The same on my side. Must be a hyprlock issue. Can you open an issue on hyprlock GitHub?
