Number question type displays extra input field

In either demo (bootstrap or material), if you had a question and set the type to "Number", an extra input field is display beneath the "min" and "max" fields.

The template being used explicitly creates this extra control so perhaps it just needs to be removed? Here's the relevant snippet from the bootstrap template:
