Removing a Fretboard diagram's open symbol remove all marks on the string, even though Multiple Dots is checked

Description with steps to reproduce

1. open the attached video
2. when the O gets clicked MuseScore clears all fret marks on the string, as if Multiple dots is unchecked
3. the marks should have been retained ... but next you can enter the marks anew
4. note that it's possible to clear the X without losing other marks on the same string
