[figma] Updating to new Figma versions?

Writing in to see if there's any guidance around updated or rolling off of an older version of the kit to a newer version of the kit.

My design team is using currently using v5.14.0 library w/ some modifications to styles & variables. I want to update to the latest library v6.1.0.

Is there an automated way to make the switch and a) keep the updates I've made to the older library & b) not (hopefully) break any components elsewhere?
