ODF data from XRD

Dear all,

I received 2 set of ODF data (.txt) measured by XRD, one from 24-58 degree and another from 58-90 degrees for the 2-theta angle. Could you please let me know how can I combine them together to make one ODF file only? Thank you.

I not really understand what kind of data you have. I think it is one of two possibilities

1. XRD data, i.e., diffraction intensities for different specimen direction and crystal directions. The 2-theta angle usually describes the crystal direction. The key question here is, whether you data are already converted into pole figure intensities or are diffraction spectra. In this case this conversion has still to be performed
2. ODF data, i.e. intensities for different orientations. This usually cant be measured by XRD and would indicate that you software has already performed an ODF reconstruction. In this case it makes not so much sense to speak about the 2theta angle.
