Dear MTEX community,
it looks like the latest update in Aztec allows to export all EDX spectra of individual pixels in an EBSD / EDS map to a h5oina file:
https://nano.oxinst.com/support/aztec-software-updates
This means that MTEX features could be used to assemble spectra from e.g. clusters of small grains, or any other features that can be distinguished based on morphology or orientations using MTEX.
Do you think there is any advantage in this approach compared to just getting the intensities of different elements (as it is now)? Has anyone considered or implemented a workflow that could utilize the individual spectra?
