Nikita, CEO of Neon (https://github.com/neondatabase/neon) did a presentation on their serverless postgres vector database. Apparently they have benchmarked both pinecone and their system and their latency was ten times better than Pinecone's. Although the benchmark is not super comprehensive as he mentioned in our conversation but I'd like to test their embedding database later.
