Describe the bug
Sending ctrl-C will spawn a new pause process. Causes the the executable cannot be deleted or replaced.

@mpromonet fix crash at exit added this feature, please help to see what causes this problem!

If I remember well it lay in closing audio device. Feel free to submit a PR to improve this.
