Description

125.0.1 is live and the release notes are live www.mozilla.org/firefox/125.0.1/releasenotes/
This release is not listed under https://www.mozilla.org/firefox/releases/

NOTE: 125.0 was never shipped, due to a release blocker 125.0.1 was shipped instead.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Navigated to https://www.mozilla.org/firefox/releases/
  2. Look at the list of releases

Expected result

125.0.1 should be listed

Actual result

125.0 is not listed

Just quickly glancing from how the versions are sorted, the missing build means there's no major version for v125.x in product_details and that's where the stable releases get the major version from.

I believe bedrock is ready for "125.0.1" as a major version, as was the case with "14.0.1" and "33.1" in past, that are treated as major releases (as can be seen in firefox/releases, matching the product_details 1:1)

For any v125.x to appear in the list, some v125.x has to be marked as major_release first, so this should fix itself once any v125.x marked as a major release is out in shipit/product-details.

Thanks for the comments.
Correct that plan is to fix the issue in product-details.
This issue was discussed internally and I will close this issue once the problem is solved.
