The authentification page is open in a normal window even if the user tried to log in from a private window #785

Affected Platforms:

  • Windows 10 (64-bit)
  • Mac 10.14.2

Affected versions:

  • unsigned v16 build

Precondition:

Have SP build installed in a private window

Steps to reproduce

  1. Click the add-on icon to open the doorhanger
  2. Click on the continue button

Expected result

  • The auth page is open in a private window

Actual result:

  • The auth page is open in a normal window

This makes sense to me. Secure-proxy works cross private and normal browsing.
@mixedpuppy any opinions here?
