Is it planned? I let FF (android) upgrade itself to 57 and now your excellent and useful add-on is disabled :(

Same here! I'm just wondering if this project is still maintained, or if I have to look for a replacement tab backup add-on. If it still being maintained, I'll happily be patient, as I really appreciate this add-on.

Hi. My plans include upgrading (or trying to upgrade) my addons for the new Firefox extension standards. When I have some free time I'll dedicate it to this work. Thanks.

I would prefer this as well. Thank you so far for the nice add-on. Please give a short comment as soon as a new version is available. Till then I will wait hopefully patiently.

The addon is now migrated. It's separated into 2 addons to have 2 buttons in the menu (not possible with a single addon). These are Tabs Export and Tabs Import.
Please read their descriptions. I added as much info as I could.

The main changes:

  • export downloads the final text file to the Downloads folder
  • import needs the text file to be opened in the browser (no filepicker for this new addon style)
