This may be related to broken console handling. We should investigate SIPp batch mode:

-B, --batch Don't use history file. Disable interactive behavior.
                      (Enables --silent.)
-s, --silent Be more silent. Print results with a tab as separator,
                      each row on new line.

It's pretty cpu intensive without sippy cup as well. I'll definitely look into this.

I'm probably going to go back and take a look at this within the next day or two. I'll post any findings as soon as I have them.

I tried a both a control run (normal settings), and a run with SIPp in background mode (-bg). Both used the same amount of CPU (~100%). While I'm certain this is a SIPp issue, I'm also fairly confident that changing console handling is not going to fix the problem.

This is fixed in SIPp 3.4.
