Hi:

Is it possible to consider adding the cppcheck backend?? It is already supported by flycheck, so porting it may be an easy task...

Looks like flycheck uses JSON parsing from the cppcheck command for interpreting cppcheck output. It also has quite a lot of exposed flags and options. This would be a good first issue for someone new. PRs are welcome.

See flymake-collection-proselint for an example.
