SH10RT LAN port mac adress, or how to know ip adress ?

Hello, nice work with the homeassistant integration. I have been trying to find something like this to get the sungrow into homeassistant.
But how to get the IP of the device ? i have the WINet communcation module and this was setup by the company wich has sold me the stuff. But if i understand you, LAN is better and i have connected this port, and i seems to work, i get link on my switch.
Then what to do ?

I have used the "advanced ip scanner" to scan my network and the searched for "sungrow". That worked for me, but I am stuck with the yaml file (see deparate discussion).

The lan port is for mbus communication and for setup of several inverters (still mbus communication between those from that interface).
Solarcloud app still need either wifi through the winet or a network cable connected inside the winet. So for best functionality use a LAN cable in the "closer to the wall" Lan port and cable/wifi in the winet. Use the IP-adress from the "closer to the wall" connected network cable as the adress for this integration.

Hello again, i have tried this LAN port but i cant get it to show ip or mac adress, i have tried to restart the inverter but still cant get an IP.
I there a setting somewhere to get it working ?

What kind of router do you use? Open router configuration and take a look to the list of connected clients. Maybe you could find it there.
Maybe you could disconnect the LAN port. Wait a few minutes. Then look which devices are connected. Then connect the LAN port again and show if a new device appears in the client list of your router. This should be the inverter LAN port.

I have an ASUS RT-AC68U with asuswrt-merlin Current Version : 386.3_2. I think i have to do some reboot or something with the inverter. I tried this last weekend, but maybe i have to keep it down longer. There cant be any setting somewhere that disables the LAN port if winet / wifi is used ? I have checked the switch port, and it seems ok with link light on.

On my Ubiquity, the IP showed up at first, but then appeared together with offline devices. (which mean it was sorted out of my IP list). When i enabled those as well i could once again see my inverter's IP. I cant answer for your asus but since you are running custom firmware, i assume that you may have a similar setting.
