Are you using the latest firmware? I think the support for monthly sensors came with a firmware update early this year. |

Yes I have the PV new and I make the Update at June |

how long is the HA instance running? These sensors are only updated every 600s. |

this is really wierd. What firmware version is installed? |

I think this must be the Firmware Version: |

I think I might have a different problem. As you can see, I get values but some values I don't get. See picture. PV generating and battery charging should actually be on. |

The binary sensors are only updated, if the register "running_state" is stable for ~30seconds ( or similar, did not look into the code). that should not be the problem. the isolarcloud web portal lists for my sh10.RT (first revision) the latest firmware called "SAPPHIRE-H_B001.V000.P004-20230719.zip" so its just 3 weeks old. Can you update to be sure?
small side node: In your translation you should use "Aktuell erzeugte Leistung" (not Energie!) :) ...translation is on my long term todo list, though... |

I just took a look at the logs and found the following error, does that mean anything to you? Yes, I can update to the Version. General exception: index out of range |

Came across this some times, when I read / write from a register address that is not supported / existing. Only way I know how to investigate this is to subsequently comment sensors, restart and check and idenfify the culprits |

Hi, I did an update of the PV system last night. Now I have the same version as you. I have found that I also have the same PV as you: SH10RT but in Home Assistant this version is displayed: SH10RT-V112. And I have the new modbus_sungrow.yaml. |

The SH10 comes in several revisions. I have the first one, you have the second (V112). Are there any more log messages? |

I restarted Home Assistant and waited 15 minutes. The only Modbus related error messages I found are these two: General exception: index out of range Pymodbus: SungrowSHx: Modbus Error: [Input/Output] Unable to decode request |

Can you add the debug stuff to your configuration.yaml. See https://www.home-assistant.io/integrations/modbus/#opening-an-issue
and / or comment the history sensors and check again after a restart |

That is what I now can see: sungrow inverter enable/ stop input selector update: Error executing script. Error for call_service at pos 1: Invalid option: "Enabled" (possible options: Enabled, Shutdown) Error while executing automation automation.sungrow_inverter_enable_stop_input_selector_update: Invalid option: "Enabled" (possible options: Enabled, Shutdown) Pymodbus: SungrowSHx: Modbus Error: [Input/Output] Unable to decode request General exception: index out of range |

I think the error is not in your implementation but somewhere else. I did some tests with SunGather and get the same errors. See the pictures. However, I do not know what the problem is. |

OK, I'm a little closer to the solution now. I was on the wrong IP. I was on the WINet-S LAN. I just got confused because nothing is coming in on the LAN port. I have now double and triple checked that I have the correct IP, but no data is coming in. I had to change the communication parameter. The technician entered a 10 instead of 1. After I changed this it works again. With the following instructions I found the solution: Thanks again for the help and thanks for the project. |
