Timeout Request

I have created a custom ability to use vim vulnerability to bypass to the root shell and connected it as an agent. However, since it has to be constantly running, i cannot terminate it and therefore an output will not be shown, making the ability stuck on the collect status even though i set a 10 second timeout. Is there anyway i can make the status to success or timeout so that it can proceed with my other commands? Thank you.

So the Caldera Ability does have a set timeout but it is not working?

yup i added a 10 second timeout but it still freeze on collect. Is it because it is a custom ability?
