As indicated in the readme, miracle-wm will bring similar functionality to swayfx. This would include:

+ **Blur**
+ **Anti-aliased rounded corners, borders, and titlebars**
+ **Shadows**
+ **Dim unfocused windows**
+ **Per application saturation control**: Allows the user to set the saturation (Digital Vibrance) for specific applications. Great for some FPS games!
+ **Scratchpad treated as minimize**: Allows docks, or panels with a taskbar, to correctly interpret minimize / unminimize requests

Details are in the new-configuration-options of the swayfx readme.

Further, I note that currently:

  • Swayfx "Treat Scratchpad as minimized" is pretty buggy
  • Swayfx has no support for ICC color profiles
  • Swayfx has no support for Explicit Sync
  • Swayfx Blur may be improved 1 2

Finally:

I understand that these might not fit into the current release schedule but would be much appreciated for v0.5.0 🥇
The ricing community is especially fond of these type of customization so this could increase this project's popularity tenfold.

Thank you for the detailed ticket 😄 We should plan a lot of this for an effects release or something.
