About the pattern

There appears to be a need for an alternative visual treatment to Confirmation pages, particularly when:

• The user has completed a journey, but there is additional offline steps they need to take
• If a case manager wanted to stop a recall and not sign it off. Some way to clearly show them it had been stopped.

Help with fees - 2015 - MOJ

In 2015 a team at MOJ designed a service allowing users to apply for help with fees online.

The process involved an online application form, however it also required paperwork to then be sent to the court.

The initial design solution of the online application used the green confirmation page at the end of the journey, with instructions on what to do next, however users did not see or read the information, and thought the process was complete.
