Allow declaring a syncon as an operator without adding an implicit right or left element. The two following declarations would then be essentially equivalent:

explicit prefix match: Exp =
  "match" e:Exp "with"
  ("|" p:Pat "->" body:Exp)+

prefix match: Exp =
  "match" e:Exp "with"
  ("|" p:Pat "->" body:Exp)*
  ("|" p2:Pat "->")
