Question about asynctest and Python 3.8+ compatibility #161
Comments
Thanks for the report! Usage of asynctest is only in a single usage you referenced, to execute a test suite that uses the asynctest library, reported back in #6 If the library is no longer active, I would be happy to review a pull request to remove it, but ot does still appear to work: https://github.com/miketheman/pytest-socket/actions/runs/3101558257/jobs/5343958310#step:5:51 |
asynctest completely fails in Python 3.11 - see #175 Going to need to resolve this somehow. |
This issue is stale because it has been open for 90 days with no activity. |
Disable broken test: miketheman/pytest-socket#161 Use bash arrays with one entry per line for better handling. Remove unnecessary quotes and curly braces. git-svn-id: file:///srv/repos/svn-community/svn@1444751 9fca08f4-af9d-4005-b8df-a31f2cc04f65

The author has mentioned that they no longer work on the library. Martiusweb/asynctest#158 (comment) Since we have other tests in place now that exercise asyncio-style tests, we can remove this test and dependency. Resolves #161 Signed-off-by: Mike Fiedler <[email protected]>
