(a) What is the probability that the coin chosen is the two-headed coin? For this question you asked what is the probability of the two-headed coin being chosen, since it has a equal probability from the rest wouldn't the answer just be 1/3. In my opinion I think the questions should be rephrase as "What is the probability that the coin chosen and flipped is the two-headed coin and given an outcome of heads?", to derive the answer provided. |
