Does Mona Saas provide some customization to Activate an subscription

Hi,

How to activate an subscription request?

After going through some docs i understand that once customer purchases an subscription, that subscription needs to be activated to get the billing cycle start and Azure provides api to activate these subscriptions.

Do we have any other way to activate a subscription request to provide an seamless experience for customer:

• Does Microsoft partner center provides a way to activate these subscription request ?
• Does mona-saas provides a way to activate subscriptions
• Can we add customized screens in mona-saas to allow admin to activate any subscription request .

For the last two questions the answer is yes. To activate a subscription you use the regular fulfillment api for Marketplace. You can find an example of how Mona does this in the last step of the Logic app for new subscriptions. You can use the fulfillment api to do thing that list subscriptions, get details, change plan and cancel. Thanks for your response , i have one follow up question

• Whats the difference between mona-saas (https://github.com/microsoft/mona-saas) and Commercial-Marketplace-SaaS-Accelerator (https://github.com/Azure/Commercial-Marketplace-SaaS-Accelerator)

We were going through the documentation of commercial marketplace and looks like it provides out of the "A private portal for the publisher to monitor customer subscriptions".

Is there any plan in mona-saas to include this portal in mona framework ?
How commercial marketplace accelerator is different in terms of functionality than mona-saas ?

SaaS Accelerator does not support test mode and only sends emails. Mona allows you to respond to events however you would like. Mona is also not a full subscription management system as it's designed to have a "single responsibility" and to be very tightly scoped/have a small footprint.
