Version of Windows 11 installed

I have two x86-64 laptops both running the latest version of WSL (WSL version: 2.2.2.0) and according to Windows update they are both running the latest version of windows available for that system. However, one laptop is running an old version of Windows 11 and does not show any available updates:

• Windows version: 10.0.22624.1537 (Published March 31, 2023)

While the other is running the latest version of Windows:

• 10.0.22635.3430 (Published April 5, 2024)

Does anyone have any suggestions as to why the one running the older version of Windows refuses to show any newer versions of Windows 11 or how to get it to update to the latest version?

I managed to update to 10.0.22624.2506 but have Windows insider installed on this system yet they are not showing up. Any suggestions on how I can fix or debug this issue?
