The linked docs also discuss having webpack manage deps. This is a good idea as we'd like to bring in, at the very least, colors from a different library.

just would like to keep in mind that maintaining as minimal dependencies as possible is a goal here. ppl should as much as possible be able to install and use this as they would any other r package
