If you click on another player's microphone icon, you will mute them. Since their microphone icon only appears when they are speaking and you can hear them, it may be impossible to unmute them in the same way. This is clearly a flaw in the Roblox UI design. You can fix the situation using the Roblox menu:

I did not find this easy to understand at first either, but clicking on the icon toggles it either between {green, faded out red} or {red, faded out red} if the other player has their spatial voice unmuted or muted respectively.

Note that there is a potential interaction between this behaviour and Issue #29 with metabords (metauni/metaboard#29). If you have a Canvas view on a talk, it is quite likely that the microphone indicator of the speaker is somewhere underneath the board. You could easily click on it while writing on the board (in addition to muting or unmuting yourself).

Note that you won't notice that you have muted them unless you go and take a look in the Roblox menu.
