Would you consider if-release for b_lto?

I.e. some method of specifying lto in meson.build such that it only applies for optimised builds and doesn't need to be specified on the command line?

Given discussion around b_ndebug and to avoid something like this, maybe a new bool flag b_lto_auto (or whatever name) would be better?

I've been using a quick if-release hack here but given the above I'm sure that's not the right answer, if it's something that would be considered!
