Description:

After installing dolphin-megasync on KDE Plasma 6 running on Arch Linux (CachyOS), I've noticed that the context menu options for MEGA folders are missing. Additionally, the status icons (sync, error, etc.) that typically appear next to MEGA-synced folders are not showing up in Dolphin.

Steps to Reproduce:

  • Install dolphin-megasync on a system via pacman (repo DEB_Arch_Extra from CachyOS).
  • Open Dolphin and navigate to any folder or file.
  • Right-click on the folder/file and observe the lack of MEGA-specific context menu options.
  • Check the status icons next to the folders in Dolphin.

Expected Behavior:

  • The context menu should include MEGA options (e.g., syncing, sharing).
  • Status icons should be visible, indicating the sync status of MEGA folders.

Actual Behavior:

  • No MEGA-specific options are available in the context menu.
  • Status icons are not displayed next to the folders.

Additional Information:

  • KDE Plasma version: Plasma 6.1.4 (Wayland)
  • Kernel version: 6.10.6-3
  • dolphin-megasync version: 5.3.0-1

This issue affects the usability of MEGA integration with Dolphin, making it difficult to manage synced folders directly from the file manager.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Same. I actually tried installing Dolphin-Megasync after having trouble with the main Megasync app (doesn't want to sync my folders - says there's a permissions issue, but I thought I fixed that? - and if I add a new folder the app crashes and/or doesn't remember the folder I added). I got confused since there didn't seem to be any way to use the Dolphin version.
