Dolphin-megasync is installed -- No context menu, No status icons for MEGA folders [KDE Plasma 6 + Arch Linux] #987
Comments
Same here: Operating System: KDE neon 6.2 |
Same here as well; still hasn't been fixed. OS: KDE Neon 24.04 Kernel: 6.8.0-48 generic 64-bit MEGASync version: 5.6.0-1.1 |
Same. I actually tried installing Dolphin-Megasync after having trouble with the main Megasync app (doesn't want to sync my folders - says there's a permissions issue, but I thought I fixed that? - and if I add a new folder the app crashes and/or doesn't remember the folder I added). I got confused since there didn't seem to be any way to use the Dolphin version. OS: Garuda Linux x86_64 Megasync ver: 5.6.1-1 |
Same. Fedora 41 |
Description:
After installing dolphin-megasync on KDE Plasma 6 running on Arch Linux (CachyOS), I've noticed that the context menu options for MEGA folders are missing. Additionally, the status icons (sync, error, etc.) that typically appear next to MEGA-synced folders are not showing up in Dolphin.
Steps to Reproduce:
Expected Behavior:
Actual Behavior:
Additional Information:
This issue affects the usability of MEGA integration with Dolphin, making it difficult to manage synced folders directly from the file manager.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
