When in the Admin UI and viewing inventory, should have have the product that an variant belongs to listed with the product? And also when you click into a variant?

At the moment the list of inventory items lists the variant name, without listing the product it is a variant of. If there aren't multiple variants of a product this results in just a long list of "Default variant".
If I then click into an item, no where on the variant screen does it tell me what product it is a variant of. I feel this will make it very confusing for anyone using the admin area to manage inventory, pricing, etc.
