We have stayed compatible with very old Ipopt versions because Ubuntu/Debian shipped binaries for Ipopt 3.11. The maintainer for that Debian package is unresponsive and it hasn't changed for many years. We could easily drop support for Ipopt 3.12 (last release in 2019) and it's probably fine to drop support for Ipopt 3.13 (last release in 2021).
