Problem

Additional layer of indirection is bad.

Solution

Check that there is no &Vec/&String/&Box used (function parameters):

  • $String -> &str (immutable string slice)
  • &Vec<T> -> &[T]
  • &Box<t> -> &T
  • Check also Smart Pointers (Rust Book)
